You don't know me, but...
This message absolutely just put the biggest smile on my face. There is so much going on in my life right now, and you don't realize just how special some people are in your life until you're reminded that they're there.
This message symbolized the entire community of people that were with me through thick and thin years ago when life was (at the time) what I thought not worth living.
I've proven myself wrong and now I'm on top of the world. And I owe it all to you. This place got me through so much, and you all hold a very special place dear in my heart.
-switching gears-
Tonight is American Idol night. A whole new controversy in the Sanjaya Age, it seems. As much as I cannot stand his music, his 'singing', or his lack of entertaining, I find that people are voting for him to be a joke. I think AI is just as much in on this scam as Howard Stern. They're releasing the story for the media... they're releasing interviews about it... and they, as anyone, should know that ANY coverage is GOOD coverage.
AI knows what they're doing. They are so greedy in the viewer pool that they want the people who don't watch the show. The 25 million people aren't enough... so they're trying to draw more in.
Granted, I'm a hardcore fan.. (just got a new job, more info later... but I requested my nights off be Tuesday and Wednesday for the time being)... I love the concept of the show and the talent it produces. This Sanjaya controversy is absurd, though. They're only setting him up for heartbreak for when he is finally voted out (it'll happen), people will stand and cheer... and then, and only then, will he know how big of a joke he really is.
I'm going to Mexico countdown: 20 days! :-)
Until next time... thank you.
